This policy explains how Plus Printing collects and uses your personal information when you use plusprinting.co.uk, place an order or contact us. Plus Printing is the data controller for this information. If you have any questions, email info@plusprinting.co.uk or use our contact page.
Information We Collect
- Order details – your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and what you ordered.
- Artwork and design files – files you upload, designs you create in our online designer, and briefs you send for our design service.
- Account details – if you create an account, your login details and order history.
- Messages – anything you send through our contact and quote forms or by email.
- Marketing preferences – whether you have signed up to our emails.
- Technical information – such as your IP address and browser, recorded in our website’s security and server logs.
We do not see or store your full card details. Payments are processed securely by our payment providers.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and deliver your order, including printing your artwork, sending order and progress updates, and handling queries or reprints. This is needed to carry out our contract with you.
- To keep financial records that we are required to keep by law, such as invoices for tax purposes.
- To answer your enquiries and provide quotes.
- To run and protect our website, prevent fraud and fix problems. This is in our legitimate interests.
- To send you offers and news by email, only if you have agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
Who We Share It With
We only share your information where it is needed to provide our service, and we never sell it. This includes:
- Payment providers, to take payment.
- Couriers and delivery companies, to deliver your order.
- Production partners, where needed to make part of your order.
- Klaviyo, the service we use to send marketing emails, if you have signed up.
- Our website hosting provider, which stores the website and its data.
- HMRC or other authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers, such as Klaviyo, may process data outside the UK. Where they do, the transfer is protected by appropriate legal safeguards.
How Long We Keep It
- Order and invoice records are kept for six years, to meet tax and accounting rules.
- Artwork uploaded to a basket but never ordered is deleted automatically after two days.
- Artwork and design files for placed orders are kept so we can deal with queries and reprints. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
- Marketing details are kept until you unsubscribe.
- Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to run the shop and your basket, and marketing cookies only if you accept them. Our Cookie Policy lists the cookies we use, and you can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings on the website.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, where we do not need to keep it by law.
- Object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use your information.
- Ask for your information in a portable format.
- Withdraw your consent to marketing at any time.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.
Keeping Your Information Safe
Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and access to order information and artwork files is limited to the people who need it to produce and deliver your order.
