These terms apply to every order placed with Plus Printing through plusprinting.co.uk. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” means Plus Printing, and “you” means the person or organisation placing the order. You can contact us at info@plusprinting.co.uk or through our contact page.
By placing an order you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. You will be asked to tick a box to confirm this at checkout.
1. Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We will email you to confirm your order. Once your order has been placed and payment received, it will be processed in line with our production schedule.
It is your responsibility to make sure all order details are correct when you order, including the product, size, material, finishing options, quantity and delivery address.
We may refuse or cancel any order where the artwork is offensive, unlawful, or appears to infringe someone else’s rights. If we cancel an order for this reason before it is printed, we will refund you in full.
2. Prices And Payment
Prices on our website are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout at the current UK rate. Our VAT number is 464 2591 79. Payment must be made in full before we start production.
3. Your Artwork
You are responsible for making sure that all artwork, images, text, logos and other materials you supply are correct and suitable for printing. This includes spelling, grammar, names, dates, prices, contact details, image quality, size, orientation, bleed and colours. Our artwork guidelines explain how to supply print-ready files.
Our free artwork check looks for technical problems, such as low resolution or missing bleed. It is not a proofread or a design review, and it does not transfer responsibility for the content of your artwork to us.
4. Logos, Trademarks And Copyright
By sending us artwork, uploading a design, using our online designer or asking us to use any material, you confirm that:
- You own, or have permission to use, every image, logo, trademark, font, photograph and piece of text in the design.
- The design does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, design rights or other intellectual property.
- The design is not defamatory, offensive or unlawful.
We do not check who owns the logos, images or other content in your artwork, and we accept no responsibility for any infringement of copyright, trademark or licensing rights. This includes club and team badges, brand logos, sponsor logos, characters and photographs.
You agree to cover us for any claims, costs, losses or damages that arise because content you supplied, or asked us to use, infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law.
5. Online Designer And Design Service
If you create your design with our online designer, you are responsible for checking it carefully before you order. What you see in the designer is what we print.
If you use our design service, we will create a design from your brief and the materials you provide, and send you a proof. You must check the proof carefully before approving it. Once design work has started, the design fee is non-refundable.
6. Proofs And Approval
Where proofs are provided, it is your responsibility to check all artwork carefully before approval. Approving a proof, or placing an order with your own artwork attached, confirms that the design is correct and ready to print. Once artwork has been approved or submitted for print, we cannot accept responsibility for errors, including spelling, layout, colours or design issues.
7. Errors In Your Artwork
We print your order exactly as supplied or approved. We cannot offer refunds, reprints or credits where a problem comes from the artwork you supplied or approved, including:
- Spelling, grammar or typing mistakes.
- Incorrect names, dates, prices, phone numbers or other details.
- Low-resolution, blurry or pixelated images.
- The wrong size, shape, orientation or number of sides.
- Missing bleed, or text and logos placed too close to the edge.
- Colour choices, or colours that look different in print from how they look on your screen.
- Logos or content you did not have permission to use.
If you need a corrected version, we are happy to reprint it as a new order.
8. Colours And Print Variation
Because screens, printers and materials all differ, colours on screen may vary slightly from the final printed product. We print in CMYK, so very bright on-screen colours (RGB) may look slightly different in print. Minor variations in colour, size, trimming and positioning can happen during printing and are considered acceptable within normal industry tolerances.
9. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for delays caused by couriers, incorrect delivery information given by you, or circumstances outside our control. Full details are in our Delivery Terms.
10. Cancellations
Orders can only be cancelled before production has started. Once printing or production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Our products are printed to your specification or personalised for you, so the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to them.
11. Faulty Or Incorrect Items
If your order is faulty, damaged, or has not been printed to the specification and artwork you approved, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving it. Where we are at fault, we will reprint or refund the affected items. See our Refunds & Returns policy for how to report a problem. This does not affect your statutory rights.
12. Limitation Of Liability
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or services, including loss of profit, loss of business or missed events. Our total liability for any order will not exceed the total value of that order.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
13. Your Files
We keep the artwork and design files for your order so we can produce it, deal with any queries and make reprints. Our Privacy Policy explains how we look after your information.
14. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be on our website. The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown when you placed it.
15. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
